1. Power

When choosing the right LED power supply for your project, you first need to determine how many watts of LED power we need. If more than one lamp is running on a power supply, these wattages must be added up to get the total power to ensure there is a power supply large enough to leave a full 20% buffer total wattage for the LED power supply.

If you need to adjust the brightness of the LED lights, you need to choose an LED power supply with a dimming function

3. Temperature and Weather

An important factor that cannot be overlooked when choosing a power supply is what area and environment it will be used in. When the power supply is working, it will not damage the power supply within its temperature parameter range. The power supply specification should include the safe operating temperature range to ensure that the power supply is used within the safe operating temperature range. The safe working range of general power supply is -30℃~50℃.

4. Efficiency

The efficiency of the power supply reflects the actual power that the LED emits. The higher the efficiency percentage of the power supply, the more power will be saved in the end. For LED applications, it is best to choose an LED power supply with an efficiency of 80% or higher.

5. Size

When choosing an LED power supply for an LED project, it is important to know where it needs to be installed. If it is installed in a relatively small space, the size of the power supply that can be properly installed must be considered.
